Show Caller Tracking is a powerful but optional feature that brings visibility into the current status of an event across all event crew by keeping everyone in sync.
How to start show caller tracking:
First, you must have Show Caller permission assigned to your user on the event
To Start, you can simply click the start button in the footer, which will begin tracking the first row.
Alternatively, you can start tracking from any specific row by right clicking on the item number and selecting 'Track Row'
Show Caller Tracking Control Bar:
Once tracking has started, Showcaller(s) will have control buttons visible in the footer to enable navigating through the show.
Next: Next button will advance to the next row
Previous: Previous button will go back to the previous row
Pause: Pause button will keep the current row tracked and highlighted but pause the Item Run Time Clock
Resume: Resume button (which appears after clicking pause) will start the timers back again from the place they were originally paused at.
Stop: Stop button will prompt first, than after confirmation stops show caller tracking feature.
Keyboard Shortcuts: While tracking is active, you can use Space to advance to the next row and Shift + Space to go back to the previous row.
Multi Show Caller
If multiple event crew users have the permission of Show caller they can also use the control buttons. To prevent this, ensure only one event crew user has Show Caller permission.
Event Crew Tracking Settings
Event crew users will automatically see the tracked row once a show caller begins / starts tracking and will no longer see it once the show caller stops tracking.
By default, all users browsers will automatically scroll the vertically as the show caller advances through. To turn this off, you can disable the Follow Tracking toggle in the footer.
Tracking Status
There are 2 visible tracking statuses visible to all users in the bottom right corner:
Live - Live indicates that show caller tracking is active and the timers are running
Paused - Pause indicates the current tracked row clocks are stopped. They will resume once show caller resumes.
